The Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, under the leadership of Sheriff Aaron Pitts, is committed to enhancing the quality of life and reducing the criminal fears of all citizens in our community. Located in the heart of Oklahoma, our office serves the 906 square miles of Kingfisher County with dedication, professionalism, and a focus on public safety.

Sheriff Aaron Pitts, a lifelong resident of Kingfisher County, brings a wealth of experience from his career in law enforcement, including his tenure as Chief of the Hennessey Police Department and as a D.A.R.E. instructor. Elected in 2024, Sheriff Pitts is focused on increasing deputy presence across the county, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring a responsive and accountable Sheriff’s Office.

The men and women of the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office are dedicated to preserving peace, protecting lives, and serving all citizens with fairness and respect. We work cooperatively with the community and other government agencies to create a safe environment, utilizing the authority of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and Oklahoma state laws. Our goal is to be a catalyst for positive interaction and problem-solving within Kingfisher County.
